Hello!

We have now been here just over four months. As time goes by, we feel like we are settling in more and more, and finding our place and our fit, here at the Centre.

The girls are continuing to do well here. They did both get fairly sick a couple of weeks ago, but thankfully they did not have malaria or anything too serious. After some meds from our clinic they were both back to normal within a day or two. We have kept them on a Canadian school schedule so they’ve been on summer break, and they are both excited to start home school in a few weeks.

Allison and myself have had a busy month working on some big sponsorship projects in addition to our normal tasks. It’s been very rewarding helping to connect our students here with their sponsors in the West. These projects have also allowed our whole family to be working in the classrooms from the senior grades all the way down to the nursery students.

I (Dan) also had the opportunity to give Luganda Bibles to the men in my Bible study, and some to others in our community. We are grateful to all of you who have donated to our work to help make this possible. We plan on picking up more Bibles in the city to continue making them available to those that would like one. I was also given the opportunity to preach one Sunday at our church, and look forward to doing that again in the future.

As we continue our work here, we feel so fortunate to get to live and serve in Uganda. It is truly a blessing to do this work and to be sent out by so many encouraging and generous people and churches.  We are so thankful for the support you have shown us. Please know that all your time, prayers, finances, and encouragement to us make a big difference. It is such a privilege to be part of the work that God is doing to make sure the hungry are fed, children are educated, the sick are being treated, and Jesus being made known in this place. Thanks for helping us join in this effort.

God bless, thanks for reading this. We absolutely love getting your emails and messages so please don’t hesitate to send us a quick note!

Love,

The Ungers
